Synopsis
Once a highly regarded baseball scout, Juhin crosses paths with Kijung who's a high school student chasing his dream of becoming a professional baseball player. When everyone around him speaks only of his limits, Juhin alone spots his raw talent at a single glance, offering a word of real encouragement to stick with it and never give up on his dream. To Kijung, Juhin was the first and only person in his life to truly believe in him for who he was. "Your hands and feet are already bigger than mine, so you might just outgrow me too, Kijung" But that happiness doesn't last long. Without saying a word, Juhin resigns from his scouting gig and completely drops off the grid. Five years later, Juhin returns to the exact same team with a brand-new title as the "performance analysis manager." And there, he runs straight into Kijung, now a full-fledged pro, completely unrecognizable from the kid he once knew. Thrown completely off balance by how much Kijung has grown, Juhin finds his eyes glued to him over and over... "The number I never managed to get back then… is it too late to ask for it now?" The clock that stopped for both of them, frozen in years of longing, finally starts ticking again, right out there on the scorching mound.
